If you like keeping records of everything on notepad or sticky notes or you need to write down things for shopping at the grocery store, Evernote is the best application to assist you with this task. Evernote is available for iPhone, android devices, windows mobile, and blackberry and PCs and MACs unfortunately not in Windows Phone 7 marketplace at the moment. Type up what you want to do in Africa and access your list in Tokyo when connected to a network with data access. Save pictures, files, add tags, etc. The new widgets have gotten a visual make-over for easy access to everything. You can also add location to notes if you want to. Sharing to Facebook and other apps like Gmail or twitter. Evernote is probably the best cloud app that allows you to remember everything.

The Dark Knight on Facebook
Warner Bros is one of the first companies to release a movie on facebook. The popular, critical acclaimed, box office Juggernaut, The Dark Knight has been released on facebook but unfortunately it is not released here in the United Kingdom because I check unless you want to do a proxy hack .. This is an interesting move as these movie studios are realising the potential of social networking sites to make more money. If you are in the U.S. you can watch the movie, but in the UK, you are left with starring at a nice picture. Click here

Microsoft has released first service pack for Windows 7. If you have been keeping up with updates, then this should be a light install otherwise it will take much longer. This is an aggregate of all the fixes from Microsoft since Windows 7 was released … Grab it here

Soluto is one sleekest, amazing software that collects data on the number of programs that actually load in memory when your computer is booting up. It will not happen on first time installations but after a restart, then it reads out the programs.With a sleek design interface it tells you what level the application resides.
Tier 1 Level (cannot be removed with Soluto (yet..) : are programs that are needed for windows to start properly and cannot be removed “yet” according to the Soluto. Examples of these programs are the system files and services, important hardware drivers which are highly critical for Windows and somehow the Soluto software gets installed on this level taking up 45 MB (Megabytes) on my computer and taking 3.1 seconds to load which is 5% of boot. Most of the programs or services in this location took 42.3 seconds to boot-up on my PC. This could be different for you depending on your system configuration.
Tier 2 Level (Potentially removable) advanced users : are programs that can be removed by advanced users that know what they are doing. Examples of these programs could include your anti virus software or if you are using an ATI card, your catalyst control center. Please do not remove your anti-virus software because of this program unless you know what you are doing. The programs on this level took ~ 17 secs to bootup.
Tier 3 Level No Brainer programs can be removed from boot like the java updater or google chrome updater which automatically updates your chrome browser to the latest version. These programs can be removed easily by Soluto without any serious consequences to Windows. This part took 2.4 seconds to boot.
Overall the total boot time for my system was 1:02 min and this does not reflect the boot times of PCs everywhere and even on my PC can be longer or shorter the next time I boot up my PC. This is an amazing software and immediately outclasses other products in this category and there is more to come.
